On April 22, 2025, the spirit of Earth Day was alive and thriving as a dedicated team from ANDRO came together to make a tangible impact in Rome, NY. This year, the celebration was particularly significant, as it marked a step forward in healing the community and the environment after the devastating tornado that swept through the area in July 2024.
Restoration and Rejuvenation
The areas chosen for this year’s cleanup were those that bore the brunt of last year’s devastating tornado. This natural disaster left parts of Downtown Rome in need of significant attention and care. The ANDRO team was determined to breathe new life into these spaces, demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship and community well-being. In addition to the cleanup efforts, the team planted two trees, symbolizing growth and renewal.
