ANDRO Computational Solutions, LLC of Rome, a leader in advanced waveform technology and systems integration, proudly announces their recent contract award by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) valued at over $2 million to support the PACE Modernization of the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS). PACE refers to Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency—an initiative led by the IBS Executive Agent in cooperation with AFRL.
The award underscores ANDRO’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the capabilities of AFRL and the IBS Executive Agent in their joint mission to deliver cutting-edge communication solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) and allied partners.
The standardized IBS system is a crucial component for distributing tactical and strategic intelligence reports across the globe in near-real time. In an era where timely and secure communication is paramount, ANDRO’s involvement in the multi-enterprise, multi-vendor initiative to modernize IBS’ PACE communication pathways is pivotal.
“Our team is thrilled to continue our partnership with AFRL and the IBS Executive Agent,” said Dr. Ashwin Amanna, Chief Waveform Officer (CWO) at ANDRO. Amanna added, “This award highlights our dedication to fostering secure and efficient communication solutions through our innovative High Assurance Waveform Computing (HAWC) program under AFRL.”
ANDRO’s HAWC program for AFRL is integral to the modernization efforts, offering rapid software-based waveform development that meets the rigorous demands of current testing and validation phases. The program is renowned for its excellence in iterative development, system instrumentation, and advanced analytics, ensuring that the IBS system remains at the forefront of technology.
“We’re honored that our HAWC program is recognized for its critical role in the IBS PACE modernization project. Our waveform development team is committed to leveraging their expertise in software-defined radio and waveform technology to support the DoD’s global communication needs,” stated Dr. Andrew Drozd, President of ANDRO.
