The purpose of the competition is to have fun, learn about digital signal processing, and improve your GNU Radio skills. It is a series of analysis challenges where the goal is to find a hidden message in the format of flag{flag_name}. There is typically a file of captured samples that has to be analyzed. The signal could be a digital representation of an image and once decoded back to an image the flag would be in the picture.
